Well, what can we say about New York apart from WOW !
It's so much better in person than it is in the movies, the streets are busier, the buildings taller, and the sights and attractions even more amazing, it really is the city that never sleeps !
There are just so many things to do, see, EAT and try, so here's our guide to NYC.
Our Top Things to do in New York:
Statue of Liberty
It's a no brainer, but visiting the statue of liberty is a must ! Our advice would be to get an attraction pass, which allows you to buy one ticket for access to multiple attractions (its much faster, cheaper and easier). For more information regarding the city pass click here

Top of the Rock
Go up the Top of the Rock, and see views of the city, including the Empire State Building. Its truly magical to see New York from above, it definitely lives up to its name of the concrete jungle.
Empire State Building

Definitely go to the Empire State Building. We went up at night, and the view of New York lit up is a real must ! The colour illuminating the sky from Times Square was breathtaking.
Times Square
Head to Times Square to witness the true hustle and bustle of the city, for broadway shows, vibrant and colourful lights, and those huge advert screens !
Central Park
Head to central park for a little more of a calm oasis. Take a stroll and get lost (that's what we did) and eventually you'll stumble across the zoo. Or rent a boat and leisurely glide through the waters, taking in the Beauty of this NYC landmark.
Brooklyn Bridge
Another popular tourist spot is the famous Brooklyn Bridge, perfect for a tonne of photo opportunities, but watch out for the cyclists !
Walk across the bridge to Brooklyn and explore.

See a Baseball/ Basketball Game
Another great way to spend a day/ evening in NYC and a real must when visiting the big apple is to go and see a baseball or basketball game. Its such a great experience, and the atmosphere is unreal !
9/11 Memorial Museum and Ground Zero
The 9/11 was a tragic event that happened in NYC. Ground zero is where a memorial was built to remember those lives lost. During your visit we felt it was important to learn about the pain that this city and country endured during this time, and Ground zero is definitely a place to do this.

See A Broadway Show
Need we say more? Like London has the West End, NYC has Broadway. And seeing a show in one of the iconic theatres in New York is something everyone should experience ! Seeing a theatre show in general is a cinematic experience, but seeing one on Broadway is a once in a lifetime ! You can browse and book here
Coney Island
If you're a fan of the beach, amusement parks and food, then Coney Island is the perfect day out. Whether you want to relax by the sea, ride the Ferris wheel, or be entertained by street performers, Coney Island is a must on your NYC itinerary. Plan your Luna Park visit here
Grand Central Station
Grand Central is rail terminal located on 42nd street and park avenue in midtown Manhattan. It boasts high ceilings, and elegant chandeliers. So if you want to visit an icon, then look no further than this 'grand' rail station.
