What better way to see in the New Year than in the capital city !
For this years NYE, we travelled to London from our hometown Coventry, for a little getaway courtesy of the UK's leading Transport Company, National Express.
The journey itself, took about 2.5 hours; it was smooth, organised and enjoyable ! National Express have onboard WIFI, and charging points at every seat, so it really is a comfortable experience !
Another thing that's great about National Express, is that they are committed to making their coaches zero emissions by 2035. This is something we absolutely loved about their ethics, and one of the main reasons we chose to travel with them.
During our trip to London, we had a jam packed schedule, so here's our run down of some amazing things to do, during the Christmas/ New Years break in the capital city...
See a Show at The Theatre
Whenever we go to London, we always make it a priority to see a show. We absolutely love going to the Theatre, and would encourage anyone to do the same when visiting.
We went to see &Juliet, and it was probably one of the best shows we've, we'd 100% recommend !!
Go to Winter Wonderland
Winter Wonderland is a must if you're in London during the Christmas season. It's probably our favourite way to get in the Christmas spirit, from ice skating to fairground rides to pop up bars and eateries galore. This magical wonderland has everything, whether you're going with your family, as a couple or with friends, make sure to add this to your to do list !
Go to the Zoo
Now, we know what you're thinking... the zoo at this time of year?! You must be joking ! But, with the weather being quite mild over New Year, London Zoo invited us down for the day to explore, and we have to say we loved it !
During the Christmas season, London Zoo, have the most adorable Christmas cabins, with everything from pink cotton candy stall, to a Santa's Grotto.
London Zoo is a perfect day out for both families and couples, and a great way to spend some quality time with your loved ones over the holiday season !
Go Out for NYE !
This is a must if you're spending your New Years Eve in London. There are so many great areas to choose from for your night out, but its the perfect way to spend your evening seeing in the New Year !

KU Bar which is a great LGBT bar
Ronnie Scotts Jazz Club, great alternative night out
Anywhere is Soho for a great gay bar !

be hard to cram all the good food into one mini break, or to even sus out the best spots... don't worry we've got you !

We absolutely loved our 4 day break in the capital, thankyou so much to National Express for making the trip there and back so comfortable and relaxing. And thank you to The Resident Hotel, Covent Garden for accommodating us, after a long day of exploring, this hotel is the perfect place to wind down and chill !
