One of the best things to do when visiting Newquay is to explore the many beautiful beaches they have to offer, and they definitely have a lot !
So lets dive right in, with the best beaches Newquay has to offer:

Fistral Beach
Fistral beach is the UK's number 1 surf destination, and arguably the best beach in Newquay, even if it is the busiest !
This beach is great for a picnic, families and dogs as it has such a chilled vibe to it, and is perfect for learning to surf or even just watching the pros.
Towan Beach
This beach is best known as 'the island' which is a lonely house on a rock joined to the cliffs by a 90ft suspension bridge.
Down on the beach there are tonnes of caves and rock pools to explore, and when the tide is out, you can see the neighbouring beaches of Tolcarne and Western beach.
Lusty Glaze
Although this beach is privately owned it is usually open to the public at no cost.
This beach is situated in a beautiful cove, and is often rented out for wedding venues.
quietly tucked away its perfect for a cosy evening watching the waves roll in.
Great Western Beach
Great Western is a popular family beach and with just a stones throw away from Towan Beach it makes for a lovely stroll across the white sand when the tide is out.
Surrounded by caves, and sky high cliff tops, its a beautiful place to relax on a summers day.

Tolcarne Beach
Based around the corner from Towan Beach, a great walk when the tide is low, Tolcarne Beach is arguably one of the best beaches in Newquay, and an ideal setting for organised activities or renting out a beach hut.

We can't speak personally on these beaches, however, there are several others to choose from which are also supposed to be just a beautiful and definitely worth checking out - Watergate bay, Holywell Bay, and Porth Beach. Another beach which is in Perranporth, around a 20 minute drive outside of Newquay, is Perranporth Beach.
