Tegalalang Rice Terraces
Possibly the most popular thing to do in Ubud is to visit these famous rice terraces, and its not hard to see why ! These beautiful and truly magnificent mountains of green are a sight for sore eyes, and definitely something that is more spectacular in person, and make for an amazing afternoon in Ubud.
Ubud Monkey Forest
We were initially quite skeptical about going here, however, we were glad that we decided to ! Walking through the forests and witnessing these creatures in their natural habit was a very special moment for us. It was also lovely (and scary) to see how these monkeys really are wild and able to roam freely.

Campuhan Ridge Walk
This rigde walk is a perfect place to take a stroll and watch the sun go down over the palm trees. Make sure to take plenty of suncream and water though if you plan to walk the whole path, as it will take around an 1.5 - 2 hours.
Ubud Markets
The markets in Ubud are another popular place to explore. Here you can find anything your heart desires, from hand crafted jewellery, ornaments and clothes, Ubud markets are a great place to shop for some souvenirs to bring home. The markets usually open from 08:00 until 17:00/18:00, so make sure you save a few hours of your day to explore !
Love Bali Swing
So, we have a confession... we didn't actually go to the 'official' love Bali swing, because we found a cute little cafe with a swing almost virtually the same, along with an amazing view of the terraces.
The name of the cafe we visited was Carik Terrace Warung. However, the official love Bali swing is situated near the entrance to the Tegalalang Rice Terraces.
