As part of Meghans birthday present, we went to London for four days, to explore the city, see what it has to offer and see a West End show called 'Everybody's Talking About Jamie'.

Where do we start with London, there are so many things to do there, so many hidden gems, and backstreet places that are definitely worth a visit.

On our first day we visited the Notting Hill area, famous for the Hugh Grant film, it's quirky markets, and colourful houses. We've been to London many times, but had never been to Notting Hill, and we were not disappointed! To get there you can take the central, district and circle line to Notting Hill Gate, and we'd definitely recommend a visit. The hustle and bustle of the markets on Portobello Road , and the stalls selling whacky shirts, and flat caps, really make you feel like you're in the heart of London.

After visiting Notting Hill, we grabbed some food at, (wait for it) the Hard Rock Cafe. We feel its a must when you're in the capital city. After food we went to the Apollo Theatre to see the west end performance 'Everybody's Talking About Jamie', and wow, what can we say about this show, it is AMAZING !!!! Would highly recommend it to anyone coming to London. In brief it is a groundbreaking representation of the journey of a

young gay man in Sheffield whose dream it is to be a drag queen. If you want to know more check out the website.

The next day we went to Shoreditch, which can be located on the central tube line.

Shoreditch is a haven for the cool, the chic and the vintage. It boasts numerous hotspots for food, and quirky bars, hidden within the back streets.

If you fancy a cool cocktail, or a quirky hangout there are so many options to choose from, but heres a selection we would recommend; The Queen of Hoxton, Zigfrid Von Underbelly, Looking Glass Cocktail Club, The Shoreditch, and Barrio Shoreditch to name a few ! For some amazing food head down to Boxpark, its a pop up food and retail park made out of shipping containers, definitely worth checking out !

A final thing we should add about Shoreditch, is all the awesome street art there is on show, its a such a cool place, and the art on show definitely represents this.

On our final day we visited some of the best insta hotspots London has to offer, starting with Peggy Porschen, a cake shop and cafe, famous for it's beautiful and creative designs. Next we visited Daunts, a beautiful Edwardian styled bookshop, its such a wonderful place to look around, and a has a magnificent staircase and balcony. After that we went to Carnaby Street, and grabbed a bite to eat in Kingly Court !

And our final visit was to Oxford Street, where we grabbed a Ben's Cookie (our absolute favourites) and walked the streets taking in the sights.

London is a must if you ever visit the UK or are stuck on where to take a trip, there's so much to do, see, eat and drink, and we cannot wait to go back for Winter Wonderland later this year !
